So here are my answers to my own survey tag thing because you don’t own me, Mom.
NaNoWriMo Username: IAmGeorgiePie
Title of Novel: Storm Chasers
NaNoWriMo or NaNoRebel? NaNoWriMo
Word Count Goal: >30,000 words
Favourite Way to Procrastinate: Eating or planning my novel so much that I don’t end up writing anything valid
Favourite Character: So far my favourite character is a guy called Oliver Williams. He’s in his mid-twenties and is crew member of the ship on which my stories based. He’s quite violence and has vicious mood swings so one minute he could be really adorable and nice and then he’ll just sort of snap and get really aggressive. It’s been fun to write. He’s a big kid underneath his aggressive exterior.
Favourite Scene: One of my favourite scenes to write was at the beginning of my story when my main character Nick collapses and is helped by the captain of the ship and her first mate.
One of my favourite scenes that I haven’t actually written yet is when we meet the captain’s brother for the first time as in my head he is my favourite character, though I can’t officially say he is because he technically doesn’t exist.
Who Do You Want To Answer This Survey Next? Two of my writing buddies that I’m pretty sure are on Tumblr:
One is booksturnmugglesintowizards as I’m pretty sure she’s one of my writing buddies but answer it anyway if you’re not!
Second is Amy Serket Kazz on NaNoWriMo.org though I don’t know if she’s on Tumblr so this could be pointeless…
Want To Give Up?
Message me and I’ll be happy to help :)
Hello fellow NaNoWriMo 2013 Participants!
So I haven’t really seen any NaNoWriMo tags or surveys going around the Tumblrverse so I decided to take matters into my own hands (i.e. procrastinate from writing 1667 words). Feel free to do this tag and be a bad infuence on your writing buddies and tag them too!
So here it is: My NaNoWriMo Writer’s Survey!
NaNoWriMo Username: (so we can all be each other’s writing buddies)
Title of Novel: (if you have one, but don’t worry if you don’t!)
Genre: (i.e. Romance, Dystopia, Horror etc.)
NaNoWriMo or NaNoRebel? (Are you writing a traditional novel or something different like a screenplay?)
Word Count Goal: (I think we can all agree 50,000 words is a big ask so what are you aiming for?)
Favourite Way to Procrastinate: (Give the rest of us some bad ideas)
Favourite Character: (What makes this character so dang awesome?)
Favourite Scene: (Feel free to skip this one if you don’t fancy revealing any spoilers of your best-seller)
Who Do You Want to Answer This Next? (Tag yo’ Writing Buddies!)
(As NaNoWriMo can be stressful and the dreaded week 2 approaches, I’m going to add this bit to the survey. If you want to help out a fellow writer you can leave this in but if you don’t think you’d be up to that then you can just leave it out)
Need Help? (Message me your writing struggles and I’ll see what I can do)
Writer’s Block? (Just can’t get past this one scene? Need someone to help you out of that hole? I can try to throw you a rope)
Want to Give Up? (Hold the phone there friend, if you need some words of friendly pep look no further!)
Happy Writing Everyone and Remember:
Procrastination: 404 Not Found.
Anyone else doing NaNoWriMo this year? Am on track so far but feel like that’s not going to last very long…
Anyway if you are doing NaNoWriMo add me as a writing buddy (I shall be adding everyone who adds me as friendship is magic!)
Good luck everyone and may the odds be ever in your favour!
I don’t think it’s possible for me to comprehensibly write about why this film was so freaking fantastic. I think everybody needs to go see it to fully appreciate how awesome it is. But if you are on the fence about whether or not you should see this movie here are a few *non spoiler-y* reasons as to why you should go see it:
The one problem I had with this movie was I felt Natalie Portman didn’t do much but you get over that because love interest and also distracted by Loki.
So yeah 4.999/5 stars and it was probably my favourite movie of 2013
Day 8: Vampires, oh my!
(I feel bad that the Twilight saga are my only vampire novels and I don’t really like them -Eclipse being my favourite but still not a massive fan- so if anyone has any vampire-fiction recommendations I would appreciate them greatly)
Day 6: Book and Candle
(So I don’t have the American edition of Looking For Alaska but I hope my makeshift candle-cover edition will do!)
((P.S. An open letter to artists, I now understand your frustration with trying to create smoke in pictures. Kudos if you manage to do it better than I did. Sincerely, Rach))
I really didn’t think I was going to get this one done! ::breathes a sigh of relief:: I had to do it though, October is my favorite month after all. I really hope that you all have fun doing the challenge and if you have any questions please feel free to ask! Happy October!! <3 -Jessica

you will be able to see the image larger and clearer!
Yay, I’m so glad there’s going to be one in October after my September battery dead + laziness. I don’t read many mysterious/spooky books or ones with supernatural elements but hopefully I’ll do most of these.
Might do the thing ;)
